What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is leveraging my role as an HR professional to create inclusive and safe work environments. I am passionate about supporting underrepresented groups, advocating for equitable pay and amplifying diverse voices. Every day, I strive to foster a workplace culture where everyone feels valued and heard. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the positive impact of inclusive policies and initiatives, not just within my organization but also in the broader community.
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve had to overcome to get where you are today?
Navigating and overcoming my own mindset barriers. Growing up in foster care and experiencing various forms of trauma posed significant hurdles in both my personal and professional life. However, these experiences also shaped my resilience and determination. They motivated me to pursue a career where I could make a difference, not just for myself but for others who might be facing similar challenges. To Main Page
