What leadership philosophy guides your strategic vision and decision-making?
I am a collaborator at heart, and as I mature in my management style, I have realized that listening is my most important tool. Specifically, I am better served by listening to multiple viewpoints rather than simply going with my gut.
How do you approach mentorship?
I have always been drawn to mentoring the next generation of finance professionals. As I’ve progressed in my career, I developed and nurtured internal relationships across the bank and across reporting lines so others could leverage my experience. I’ve been especially successful in mentoring young professional women as they begin to experience the work-life balance issues of having a family. Undoubtedly, I benefited from the women in the workforce who came through before me, and it feels like a pay-it-forward type of obligation. To Main Page
