Vozzi is Growth Street Partners’ second investment in Utah! We’re thrilled to partner with co-founders Ben Young and Dave Parson as they continue to grow Vozzi and extend the company’s leadership position.
In 2019, Growth Street led a minority growth investment in Suralink, its first investment in Utah. Suralink’s co-founder and original CEO, Tim Ballantyne, is joining Growth Street as an investor and board member at Vozzi.
Vozzi’s fan engagement platform is the only all-in-one text marketing, communication, engagement, text-to-buy and text-to-pay solution. It enables customers to meet fans where they are and drive more revenue. The platform is purpose-built for the sports and entertainment industry with industry-specific workflows, content and integrations across major ticketing providers as well as sales and marketing software platforms.
Vozzi’s mission is to change the way sports teams and entertainers interact with and engage their fans. As fan demographics shift younger, fans are more mobile and less interested in traditional ticket-buying methods. Teams, venues and event operators need to make sure they stay in front of their audiences. Vozzi’s leadership team lived the fan engagement problem, both directly as fans and as team operators, across sports and entertainment organizations. These experiences give the team a deep understanding and empathy for the needs of the customer and allow the company to innovate at a rapid pace.
The Vozzi customer base is growing rapidly across professional, minor league and collegiate sports teams, as well as entertainment venues and events. The company’s customer base includes many local Utah teams and brands, including the Utah Jazz, Utah Hockey Club, Utah Grizzlies, Salt Lake Bees, Megaplex, Utah State University, The University of Utah and Brigham Young University. Text volume is growing rapidly across Vozzi’s customer base as organizations realize the ROI potential of this channel.
Growth Street is thrilled to continue to invest in and partner with the Utah tech community.
