SALT LAKE CITY — Cushman & Wakefield announced the firm has represented Cricut®, Inc. (NASDAQ: CRCT), a leading creative technology company, in extending the lease term for its 128,000-square-foot corporate headquarters in South Jordan (Salt Lake City), Utah. Cricut currently occupies the entire 5-story Class A office building located at 10855 South River Front Parkway.

Cricut’s headquarters serves its core office, operational and design functions. The company has been a tenant at the building for the past 10 years. Cricut’s newly restructured lease agreement will add two more years to the company’s long-term stay at the Utah property, with a term now running through at least 2029.
A Cushman & Wakefield team led by Executive Managing Directors Dana Baird and Mike Richmond represented the tenant in the transaction.
“Cricut sought an opportunity to extend the lease term for its longtime home in Salt Lake City, which our team was able to think up a creative solution that, through the collaboration with the landlord, achieved a successful outcome for both parties. With the new agreement, Cricut has added meaningful term to its existing lease and at a more favorable rent at current market conditions. The landlord has also secured Cricut as a major strong and long-term tenant at their property, with zero disruption to occupancy,” said Dana Baird.
“The pandemic has resulted in a ‘flight to quality’ that has driven greater demand and activity in the best office buildings. These properties typically focus on employee enjoyment, collaboration as well as personal space, and overall well-being in a high-quality environment. Cricut has recommitted itself to a great location in the thriving southern end of Salt Lake City for years to come,” continued Baird.
