Helix Electric of Utah, LLC. (Helix), an award-winning electrical contractor that specializes in design-build and highly complex electrical projects throughout Nevada and Utah, is pleased to announce the promotion of Victor Fuchs to president and CEO. Fuchs, who has been with the company for nearly four decades, previously served as president and managing member of Helix. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its market presence, successfully delivered high-profile projects, and achieved record-breaking revenue growth. Since joining Helix in San Diego in 1987, Fuchs has played a pivotal role in the company’s evolution.

His journey from an entry-level estimator to leading the largest non-union electrical contractors in Nevada and Utah is a testament to his deep industry expertise and firm commitment to leadership and excellence. Fuchs established Helix Electric of Nevada in 1995 with some of its earliest projects being the Galleria at Sunset Mall and Levis Strauss Headquarters in Henderson, positioning it as a key player in the region’s commercial and industrial sectors. Today, both Victor and Helix continue to set new benchmarks for innovation, project execution, and workforce development.

“I am honored to continue leading Helix Electric, LLC as president and CEO, a company that has been my professional home for over 30 years,” said Fuchs. “From starting at the bottom to leading this incredible team, my journey has been fueled by a deep commitment to our employees, clients, and the communities we serve. As we continue to break annual revenue records and expand our footprint across the region, I remain dedicated to our mission of fostering a workplace culture where we empower people and power projects for many years to come.”

Throughout his tenure at Helix, Fuchs has overseen numerous high-profile projects that have shaped the region. In Reno, his leadership has been instrumental in the successful completion of major developments such as the Tesla Gigafactory, the remodel of Legends Bay Casino, the Academy at Reno Apartments, and the Park Lane Element Hotel. In Las Vegas, his expertise has driven the execution of complex projects over time, including the World Market Center’s 355,000-square-foot Expo Center, the immersive Meow Wolf art exhibit, the City of Las Vegas Municipal Courthouse, the Smith Center for the Performing Arts and the UNLV Fertitta Football Complex. His impact extends to large-scale residential and hospitality projects like the expansion of the Downtown Grand Hotel, Auric at Symphony Park, and UNLV Ventura Village, as well as essential community developments such as the Southern Highlands Sports Park, Centennial Hills Rehab Hospital, McCarran Airport Airfield Lamp Lighting Retrofit and the Dignity Health-Galleria Pavilion. Additional notable projects include the Crown Mesquite Aluminum Can Manufacturing Facility and the remodel of the Red Rock Lotus of Siam Restaurant.

Helix Electric of Utah, LLC has played a vital role in both ongoing and recently completed developments. Ongoing notable projects include Founders Place in Park City, a premier ski-in, ski-out luxury residential community in the Deer Valley area. Recently completed projects include the Skytrac Manufacturing Facility in Tooele, a 130,000-square-foot production center that serves as the headquarters for Skytrac, a subsidiary of Leitner-Poma of America. Helix also completed work on the Current Apartments in Murray, a 305-unit, five-story multi-family community designed to provide upscale urban living with convenient access to transit, employment centers, and recreational amenities.

Beyond his leadership at Helix, Fuchs is a dedicated philanthropist and an active supporter of community initiatives. He serves on the board of directors for the Associated Builders & Contractors of Nevada, advocating for industry growth and workforce development. Through corporate giving and his family nonprofit, Barkmerica, he champions causes that support education, animals, healthcare, and underprivileged families. Additionally, Helix Electric contributes to numerous local charities and hosts annual fundraising events. When Fuchs isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and skiing.
