Salt Lake City — A gathering place for a wide range of community events, The Gateway is pleased to offer new as well as familiar events to launch the New Year following record attendance for its annual Last Hurrah! New Year’s Eve events. The varied programming for upcoming weeks is detailed below.
Psychedelics in the Beehive
Jan. 24-25, 10:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m.
In its fourth year, Psychedelics in the Beehive has evolved from a conference and expo into a dynamic, three-day festival that will take place at The Gateway for the first time. This year’s event transforms downtown Salt Lake City into a vibrant hub of art, entertainment, and education, inviting attendees to explore new perspectives on psychedelics through a blend of learning and creative expression. The festival connects Utah’s diverse plant medicine community, bringing together experts, leaders, business owners, and newcomers to collaborate and choose their own path in exploring psychedelics. While most of the event is ticketed, some activations are free and open to the public. Explore the world of psychedelics through programming that includes speakers, panels, storytellers, bands, DJs, movies, yoga, sound baths, a sneak peek of Dreamscapes, meet ups, help desks and more.

Utah Tech Week
Jan. 27 to Feb. 1
Utah Tech Week is a smorgasbord of experiences and events hosted by startups, VC firms, community organizations —those who support the startup community. It’s a tech week by the people, for the people with 50 events taking place at The Gateway alone. Utah Tech Week’ objective is to cultivate “happy collisions” in the Utah tech community; the kind that lead to friendships, partnerships, and deals. There’s no cost to attend or sponsor, the only requirement is a desire to help build Utah’s exciting and dynamic tech scene.
Some of the most anticipated sessions at The Gateway include The Next Frontier: How Deep Tech Will Shape America’s Future (Tuesday, 3:00-4:30 p.m.), What’s Next on the Horizon for AI (Wednesday, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.), and Ideation Workshop presented by entrepreneur Josh Little (Wednesday, 6:00-9:00 p.m.)
Yoga & Beer
Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m.
Following a holiday break, the free, weekly Yoga & Beer series welcomes the community to experience a fun and accessible approach to wellness. A talented yoga instructor from Salt Lake Power Yoga leads this weekly series with a power flow yoga, integrating optional beer drinking postures. All levels of yogis and beer drinkers are welcome to the practice with live music by DJ Drew. Yoga is free. Beers from Squatters & Wasatch are $6. A special Valentine’s Day edition of Yoga & Beer will take place on February 11. More details to come.
Winter Hues Art Stroll
Feb. 21, 6:00-9:00 p.m.
The Gateway has partnered with Salt Lake Gallery Stroll as part of the vibrant visual art scene in Salt Lake City. Walk down Rio Grande St. and explore the new “Winter Hues” themed windows throughout the property. Select Art Shop Artists will open their temporary installation “shop” just for Gallery Stroll.
