Preston, ID — Calling all fans of Napoleon Dynamite! Prepare for an epic weekend as the Napoleon Festival returns to Preston, Idaho on July 26th and 27th, 2024. This two-day extravaganza celebrates 20 years of the cult classic film, offering a unique blend of contests, nostalgia, and utter awesomeness.

Channel your inner Napoleon or Deb with a costume contest, or bust a move at the iconic moon boot dance masterclass. Test your skills at the tater tot eating competition. Find who’s king of the school yard at the tetherball tournament. Relive classic scenes during a guided bus tour of filming locations, or capture unforgettable memories with a llama photo op.

The festival fun doesn’t stop there! Attendees can participate in a Napoleon Dynamite trivia challenge, learn to make their own lip balm, or create a one-of-a-kind boondoggle. Feeling creative? Enter the Liger drawing contest and showcase your artistic talents.

We are thrilled to announce two cast members will be joining Napoleon Fest on Saturday! You can find LaFawnduh at Polar Bear Eats from 10:30 am – 6 pm. Don will be hanging out here and there (keep an eye out at OLIVE + JO and Big J Burgers and Pizza Villa) in the morning. Meet up with him at the PHS experience from 1 – 3 pm, and maybe snag a photo with him by his locker!

You can see them both at the awards/closing ceremony on Saturday (PHS Auditorium 6 – 8 pm)
