“This innovative and necessary partnership between the SBA and Small Business Majority allows us to reach a larger segment of the small business population throughout the Rocky Mountain and Northern Plains area," said SBA Regional Administrator Aikta Marcoulier. “Our goal is to provide timely training on critical topics such as workforce development, access to business capital, and cybersecurity, which all businesses desperately need in today’s changing economy."
Through these webinars, members of the small business community will be connected to a suite of tools and strategies to develop long-term, stable growth. The first webinar in this series, scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, will provide tips for navigating the rural small business financing landscape, including what to look for and avoid while searching for funds.
“States within this targeted region have a healthy small business economy and a strong entrepreneurial spirit," said Lindsey Vigoda, Colorado Director & National Quality Jobs Policy Director for Small Business Majority. “But they need additional support to thrive, and equally important, they need information about where to turn to find that support. We are excited to partner with the SBA to connect entrepreneurs with valuable tools and resources that will help them grow and strengthen their businesses."
SBA and Small Business Majority remain steadfast in efforts to lower barriers to opportunities for small businesses and ensure they have equitable access to capital, business essentials, and resources that will drive sustainable growth.
