Salt Lake City— Ballard Spahr represented Visible Supply Chain Management in its acquisition by integrated container logistics company A.P Moller-Maersk, the world’s largest container shipping, and vessel operator.
Visible Supply Chain Management operates nine fulfillment centers across the United States. It handles 200,000 orders a day and 200 million packages a year and reaches 75 percent of the country within 24 hours and 95 percent of within 48 hours. Its acquisition will enable A.P. Moller – Maersk greater access to the North American Market. The transaction has an enterprise value of $838 million.
