Salt Lake City— Delivering a comprehensive and diversified approach to fitness, TruFusion will open its first Utah gym at The Gateway in fall 2021. The franchise, which boasts Alex Rodriguez as a partner and investor, will encompass 13,000 square feet on the corner of 100 South and Rio Grande. TruFusion features a variety of rooms to provide different, boutique-style workouts. Its innovative approach to group fitness and yoga has differentiated the brand from other fitness franchise concepts, offering an extensive variety of heated and non-heated classes all under one roof.

“Often ranked as one of the top 10 fittest cities in the U.S., Salt Lake City residents value health and wellness, so this is an exciting market to include in our expansion,” says Brett Cortese, TruFusion franchisee. “The Gateway is an unbeatable location for TruFusion’s Utah debut thanks to its mix of residents and workplaces. Downtown doesn’t have a fitness amenity with these kinds of varied workout offerings housed in one facility, so we anticipate attracting patrons from The Gateway and beyond.”

Workout offerings include Yoga, Barre, Pilates, Bootcamp, Cycle, Kettlebell, Battle Ropes, Boxing, and TRX. Following several years of consistent growth, Inc. magazine recently recognized TruFusion on its annual Inc. 5000 ranking as one of the fastest-growing, privately held companies in the U.S.

“We are excited to welcome TruFusion to The Gateway, the perfect choice for their first Utah location,” says Jenny Cushing, Vestar’s VP of leasing. “This is a concept that will benefit those who live and work downtown and provide a draw to those looking for a unique workout with a huge variety of classes to choose from. TruFusion has created a fitness community that truly complements The Gateway’s community-oriented environment.”
