Cushman & Wakefield announced the firm has strengthened its brokerage services in the Salt Lake City/Utah market with the addition of Melina Miramontes as a Director. Based in the firm’s Salt Lake City office, Miramontes specializes in representing office owners/landlords and tenants. Miramontes was recently named to Utah Business’s prestigious ‘40 Under 40’ class of 2025 for her already accomplished career and community work. At just 33 years of age, Miramontes has already made a meaningful impact both within Utah’s economy and in global markets through her work in brokerage.

“We are ecstatic in welcoming Melina to the Cushman & Wakefield team, and as one of the best and brightest young professional talents in all of Utah. Melina has earned a strong reputation for her keen market insight, hard work, and tireless commitment in going above and beyond to deliver tailored solutions for her clients. She has also proven to be an exceptional colleague, teammate, and mentor within the industry,” said Steve Schwab, Cushman & Wakefield’s Managing Principal for Utah, Colorado, and Idaho.

“Cushman & Wakefield remains dedicated to attracting and retaining top talent to service the needs and goals of our clients at the highest level. We have hit a home run with the addition of Melina and have nothing but great confidence and expectation for what’s to come in her career ahead with our firm,” added Schwab.

Miramontes joins Cushman & Wakefield from CBRE, where she previously worked since 2018 and was involved in negotiating a considerable amount of office lease transactions. Her real estate career began in 2016 with Summit Sotheby’s International Realty.

Miramontes has stood out among her peers in what has been a traditionally male-dominated commercial real industry, earning respect as a formidable broker. Her innovative approach and unwavering dedication to her clients’ position has established her as a true leader in the field. She has also expertly honed her technology skillset to enhance her tenant and landlord representation, providing quantitative deliverables for clients.

“Cushman & Wakefield is a leading firm in Utah and globally with an amazing and greatly respected roster of talent and leadership. I am excited at this next chapter of my career with this team and look forward to further growth as a professional and in my own business endeavors. As someone who has always sought an advantage in utilizing research and technology in my work, the always forward-looking, cutting-edge resources that C&W offers plus its robust network of services will equip me with the tools to provide an elite level of services for my clients,” said Melina Miramontes.

A passionate advocate for women in business, Miramontes has always uplifted those around her, reinforcing the importance of collaboration and support in professional growth. She has generously given her time and expertise in helping guide several mentees. She continues to look to support the future of the commercial real estate industry while inspiring the next generation of leaders in Utah. Miramontes also plans to be a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Women’s Integrated Network (WIN), which develops and supports the talents of women team members across the firm.

Miramontes is also focused on being an active community leader and supporter. As a certified yoga instructor, she regularly donates many hours in guided meditation, movement and breathwork for members of her community. She also volunteers as a Confraternity of Christian Doctrine Educator and can be found preparing and serving meals to families in need and homeless resource centers at St Vincent De Paul Dining Hall. She is also a committee member for multiple charitable and non-profit organizations including Leukemia Lymphoma Society, American Diabetes Association, Be the Match, and Operation Smile.
