“While Stephanie and Kenny have already been playing a vital role in our success at Penna Powers, this transition marks an exciting new chapter for us as we focus on strategic growth and expanding our impact,” said David L. Smith, Penna Powers CEO and Partner.

Miller started at Penna Powers 30 years ago as an intern, and has spent her career executing research, planning, strategy, and messaging. She has managed public relations, B2B and B2C media relations, media training, and has led the strategy for impactful advertising campaigns for sober driving, alert driving, protection from scams, and pursuing technical education.

“Stephanie is known for her professionalism, strategic thinking, and ability to mentor and inspire,” said Justin Smart, Chief Strategy Officer and Partner. “Her journey from intern to president is a true testament to her commitment, leadership, expertise and deep understanding of the communications industry as a whole.”

In addition to appointing a new president, the agency has appointed Hammond as a new partner in a move that extends agency leadership into the future. Hammond has been the firm’s Creative Director and now steps into the Partner/Chief Creative Director role.

Hammond began his advertising career in Chicago, working with household names like McDonald’s, State Farm, and Capital One at DDB and Leo Burnett. While there, he earned his master’s degree in Advertising & PR from DePaul University and served as an Adjunct Faculty member, teaching advertising portfolio development. His ability to capture attention and drive change with exceptional ideas has led Penna Powers to more industry accolades than ever before. From talking seatbelts encouraging drivers to buckle up, to the cinematic visuals inspiring Utahns to “Live to Breathe,” Hammond’s creativity elevates the message in any medium.

“For the last 12 years at Penna Powers, Kenny has demonstrated a remarkable ability to tell stories through creative strategy and execution,” said Erico Bisquera, Chief Creative Officer and Partner. “His knack to think beyond the mark and develop exceptional creative ideas time and time again is unmatched.”

Individually and collectively, Miller and Hammond bring decades of experience, award-winning client results, and deep-rooted relationships to the future of Penna Powers. This transition marks an exciting new chapter for the agency. Visit PennaPowers.com to learn more about these leaders and the agency’s work.
