With nearly 14 years of public accounting experience, Matt has been a trusted advisor to clients across a range of industries, including asset and wealth management, consumer products/retail, family office, energy, technology, and real estate. His expertise spans corporate and partnership tax compliance, ASC 740, and strategic tax planning and consulting. During his time with a Big 4 firm, he spent two years in the National Tax Office in Washington, D.C., specializing in M&A and IRS dispute resolution.
A University of Utah graduate, Matt earned his Master of Accounting (MAcc) and continues to expand his expertise through advanced professional development. He is a member of the AICPA and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants and is committed to giving back as a Board Member and Officer with First Tee of Utah, where he helps teach life skills through golf.
