The St. George Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of four distinguished professionals to its Board of Directors and the appointment of a new Vice Chair. These accomplished leaders will begin their terms in January 2025 and bring diverse expertise strengthening the Chamber’s commitment to fostering economic growth and community development across the region. One of the new board members, Elizabeth Wilson from Zeek stated, “I am deeply honored to join the Board of the St. George Chamber of Commerce and to work alongside such inspiring and talented individuals. It’s a privilege to contribute in any way I can to our community’s growth, and I’m excited to support our local businesses and help strengthen the special St. George ecosystem that means so much to us all.”

Joining the Chamber Board of Directors are:

  • Gregg Robison – CEO of RAM Aviation, Space, & Defense, a key figure in advancing the region’s aerospace and defense sectors.
  • Elizabeth Wilson – CEO of Zeek, whose innovative leadership in tech and entrepreneurship has significantly contributed to the online success of businesses worldwide.
  • Josh Sutton – Director of Sales & Marketing at Wittwer Hospitality, bringing invaluable insights from the hospitality and tourism industry.
  • Ronda Neilson – Chief of Staff at Black Desert Resort, with a wealth of experience in executive leadership and community engagement.

The new board members and Vice Chair will be introduced at the annual St. George Chamber Foundation Gala Presented by Greater Zion on January 18, 2025, at Black Desert Resort. Josh Sutton from Wittwer Hospitality commented, “I am honored to join the SGACC Board of Directors. Shawn and his team, as well as the current board and those about to move on, have done a phenomenal job at representing the dynamic needs of our growing economy. I am looking forward to getting to know more local businesses and working with them to help develop our growing community into one of the best places to live and raise a family.”

Additionally, Henrie Walton, Interim Chief of Staff and Assistant to the President for Government & Community Relations at Utah Tech University, will assume the role of Vice Chair. “The Chamber is at the center of so many exciting things happening in our community,” said Henrie. “As Southern Utah continues to grow, I’m excited to help lead the Chamber as we advocate for local business and our community at large.” Henrie’s longstanding dedication to public service and his expertise in government relations are poised to elevate the Chamber’s strategic initiatives.

The St. George Chamber Foundation Gala will recognize businesses doing amazing things in Washington County. All profits from the event are used for scholarships for individuals working in the hospitality industry seeking further education to grow their careers.
