Bank of Utah announces the appointment of Sean Morrison as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. Sean joins the bank at a pivotal time of growth, as the organization has expanded its assets by nearly 40% since January 2023 and welcomed many talented new team members.
Reporting directly to Bank of Utah President Branden Hansen, Morrison will lead the HR team in supporting the bank’s evolving needs, enhancing organizational capabilities and furthering a progressive approach to human resources.
“Sean Morrison brings extensive expertise and a forward-thinking vision to Bank of Utah,” said Hansen. “He has a proven record of creating scalable, people-centered solutions and award-winning training programs that drive organizational success.”
Morrison joins Bank of Utah after five years as Vice President of Human Resources at Mountain America Credit Union (MACU), an organization with over 3,500 employees. His previous experience includes senior HR leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo and Guckenheimer, where he transformed HR teams and built world-class organizational frameworks. He also supported 5,500 employees and thousands of volunteers globally at a prominent non-profit organization.

Morrison graduated from Brigham Young University with an MBA. He resides in Kaysville, Utah, with his wife, Melissa, and their six children.
