What are you most proud of in your career thus far?

I first went to college with no direction on where I wanted to go with a career, personal life or really what I cared about. After failing my first year, I took a semester off to work as much as possible. While I did that, I realized I needed to work in a career doing a job that I actually cared about. I wasn’t content just doing a job for the sake of a job; I wanted to build a career and drive impact. From that moment on, I’ve been working to build my career in marketing and finance while driving impact and value.

What is the most fulfilling part of the work you do?

I get to solve problems in creative and analytical ways while promoting financial resources at the same time. Being able to combine my creative and analytical side for something I actually care about has been incredibly fulfilling.

What advice do you have for other young professionals?

The day starts when it’s dark outside. What I mean by that is putting in the work when no one is watching can be your differentiator. I live by the saying, “One is better than zero." I feel like a lot of my peers struggle to be motivated due to the obstacles they face. This can lead to a lack of action and a lack of work ethic. My biggest piece of advice: work. Work harder and work smarter. If you have questions, find answers. If you don’t know how to do something, learn.
