Salt Lake City–MTN Retail Advisors (MTNRA), the leader in primary retail data collection and analysis, today announced its expansion into tenant representation services, creating the only national one-source solution that pairs its offerings with tenant-focused brokerage services.

This arm of MTNRA is led by industry veteran Matt Stephens, and specializes in national retailer and franchise tenant representation.

“We’ve used a data-driven approach to commercial real estate for years, providing detailed, actionable data that has become essential for retailers and franchisors,” said Doug Munson, MTNRA principal owner. “Combining MTNRA’s best-in-class data with Stephens’ brokerage expertise allows clients to mitigate risk and efficiently use their resources.”

The tenant representation team includes tenant advisors Ted Lacy, Tyler Roeller and Josh Evans. Together, they bring more than 40 years of experience, working with retailers like Ace Hardware, Wendy’s and The Little Gym International across the US, completing transactions in over 800 US markets.

MTNRA works nationwide, collecting primary data on more than 25,000 grocery-anchored shopping centers and evaluating real estate, shopping center, grocery store and co-tenant attributes. Its client roster includes Harris Teeter, Giant Eagle, New Seasons and more. MTNRA also assists the shopping center investment industry, municipalities and retail developers with grocery-anchored strategies.

“MTNRA dominates the field of data collection and analysis, and we are excited to join their team,” said Mr. Stephens, MTNRA tenant advisor. “High-quality data is essential to successful site selection, particularly in today’s e-commerce-driven landscape, and we’re thrilled to work with MTNRA to enhance the services we’re each providing to our clients.”

“Matt and his team have worked with us for more than eight years, helping our retailers to expand in markets large and small,” said Hank Kerry, Ace Hardware director of new business. “We’re confident that, with MTNRA, they’ll continue to provide exemplary services, while addressing the evolving data and real estate needs of today’s retailers.”
