Salt Lake City–Fitness Machine Technicians, specialists in the maintenance and repair of exercise equipment for gyms, corporations, hotels, and private residences, announced today it is expanding into the Salt Lake City area. The local owner is Chad Black, of Lehi, Utah.
Black is a lifelong resident of the Salt Lake City area and attended University of Utah where he studied sports and recreation. He spent his career in the construction industry and owned his own construction business. Now, he is transitioning to the fitness industry by opening Fitness Machine Technicians in this community.
“When previously training for a triathlon, I was in crowded gyms where broken equipment meant people had to wait in line to continue their workout routines. It’s a real frustration that many gym-goers experience,” says Mr. Black. “This intermountain area is a fitness and activity oriented community – people are involved in all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, which means they need reliable fitness equipment,” he adds.
Fitness Machine Technicians offers service/repair and maintenance services on a variety of exercise equipment on a contract and non-contract basis. The company is based outside of Philadelphia and currently services Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland, New York, North Carolina and Georgia. Fitness Machine Technicians services residential, commercial exercise facilities and universities such as Temple and Villanova Universities, as well as the Philadelphia Eagles training facility.
CEO & Founder Don Powers notes, “With Chad’s background – both owning his own business and being mechanically-inclined, I’m excited to have him open our first Intermountain West Fitness Machine Technicians in an area that is fitness minded.”
Fitness Machine Technicians is now open and serves Salt Lake City and surrounding counties. For more information about having a fitness machine or exercise facility serviced, please contact Chad Black at 801-997-9932 or visit www.FitnessMachineTechnicians.com/SaltLakeCity.
