CHG Healthcare has announced the promotion of Leslie Snavely to CEO of the nation’s largest physician staffing company. CEO Scott Beck will retire and transition to an advisory role as executive chair of the CHG Board of Directors. Beck has been with CHG for 25 years, serving the last 10 years as CEO.
Since joining CHG in 2010, Snavely has been a pivotal member of CHG’s executive leadership team. She was named President in 2023 and has played a crucial role in evolving the company’s business model to supplement CHG’s strong service delivery with a tech-driven growth strategy. Other key roles include Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Chief Sales Officer, and Chief Strategy and Digital Officer. Prior to her time at CHG, she spent over a decade in the consumer-packaged goods industry at leading companies such as Procter & Gamble and Pepsi.
“I’m honored to lead a company that makes such a huge impact on people’s lives every day, both through the healthcare facilities we support and the physicians we place who provide life-saving care to our communities,” Snavely said. “I’m excited to continue to strengthen our culture and keep finding better ways to help health systems and clinicians care for patients.”
CHG’s core values are at the heart of Snavely’s leadership philosophy, with a foundation of putting people first. Her purpose is rooted in service, striving to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those CHG serves — employees, providers, clients, and communities. She is known for her commitment to inclusion, working to ensure everyone has a voice at CHG and people feel free to be themselves at work.
“Over the years, Leslie has moved the business forward, helped our people grow, and been a champion of our core values,” Beck said. “I know she will be an amazing CEO, and I can’t wait to watch her lead us through the next phase of growth and success.”
Snavely’s achievements include being recognized among Staffing Industry Analyst’s Global Power 150 Women in Staffing and Top 100 Leaders in North America in 2023. Committed to advancing women’s leadership, she previously served as Vice Chair of the Women’s Leadership Institute of Utah. Snavely is passionate about her community and has served in various non-profit leadership roles within the Park City Community. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Miami University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting.
