Salt Lake City—The Haunted Attraction Association (HAA), the only official association in the haunt industry, named Fear Factory (http://fearfactoryslc.com/), Salt Lake City’s only truly haunted attraction one of the top haunts of 2023. This is the second time in the last three years Fear Factory has been named to the list of the HAA’s top haunts.
To be eligible, award recipients must be members of the HAA while meeting a list of 10 criteria that are tied directly to the organization’s mission of protecting customers, promoting haunted attractions and educating industry experts and employees.

For more than a decade, Fear Factory has been one of Salt Lake City’s and the country’s favorite haunted attractions. While many in Utah feared the old Portland Cement Factory due to rumors of being haunted and a series of gruesome accidents, Fear Factory embraced these elements and quickly became a fan favorite and can’t miss activity every Halloween.
Fear Factory kicked off its 2023 haunt season on Friday, September 15, 2023 and will be open through Saturday, November 4, 2023 when it hosts its annual blackout event to close the season.
