Provo–DevMountain, a coding bootcamp headquartered in Provo, Utah, is now offering a $2,500 scholarship toward the education of the scholarship winner’s choice.

The DevMountain Scholarship is for anyone looking to further their education. One winner will be chosen out of all the applicants per scholarship term, or semester. The scholarship winner may use this scholarship toward DevMountain courses, a four-year college degree, trade schools, or any other form of education.

“There are a lot of opportunities out there for people to education themselves,” said Cahlan Sharp, founder of DevMountain. “Part of the reason we are doing this scholarship is because we believe in the power of education in all its forms and we want to help people gain access to those forms of education.”

Participants in the DevMountain Scholarship have to answer the following question in a 30-90 second video: What impact has technology had on your life?

DevMountain recommends all interested participants read the entry requirements and see the video guidelines before creating their video. Once the video is complete, participants can submit their video here.

For the first scholarship term, applicants can submit their videos starting June 31, 2018. The application will close October 31, 2018.

Once all videos are submitted, a committee at DevMountain will review the videos and choose a winner. This scholarship winner will be announced and awarded the $2,500 scholarship in November 2018.
