Salt Lake City — Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar, a member of Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces the addition of shareholders Aaron Clark, Peter Donaldson, Michael A. Gehret and Trinity Jordan along with of counsel attorneys Kristin A. Baughman and Jordan Westgate and associate Jake R. Lee to its litigation practice. Prior to joining Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar, all seven lawyers practiced in the Salt Lake City office of Armstrong Teasdale LLP.

Aaron Clark, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, is a seasoned lawyer with nearly two decades of litigation experience where he has focused his practice on financial and white-collar crime. Aaron is experienced in jury and bench trials and has a wealth of knowledge in statutes governing fraud, money laundering, national security, voting and tax fraud, trafficking of narcotics and firearms, public corruption, mail and identity theft and immigration.

Peter Donaldson is returning to Dentons. Donaldson is an experienced trial lawyer who handles a broad array of commercial litigation matters, including disputes regarding contracts, real property, land use, corporate governance, fraud, business torts, fiduciary duties, employment, insurance, franchising, creditor’s rights, intellectual property, probate and trust, receivership, securities and other matters.

Michael A Gehret has served as national litigation and bankruptcy counsel for many of the largest companies in Utah and across the country. Mike represents financial institutions, private equity funds, solar and power companies, health care, pharmaceutical and biotech companies, developers, commercial property owners, title companies and owners associations, casinos and ski resorts.

Trinity Jordan, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, is an experienced trial lawyer focusing his practice in the areas of federal criminal defense, entertainment law, nonprofit and corporate litigation. While his practice primarily involves federal law matters, he also regularly represents clients in state and federal court. In the entertainment industry, Trinity has worked with several independent movie producers, writers and artists. He has also represented some of the largest privately owned companies in the United States, as well as many local businesses, contractors and individuals in government investigations.

Kristin Baughman has more than a decade of experience in commercial litigation and appeals. Her practice spans a wide range of skill sets, including counseling clients in complex commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, commercial loan restructuring, receiverships, and real estate litigation.

Jordan Westgate focuses her practice on a variety of civil matters, including commercial litigation, collections, employment law, domestic litigation and appeals. She has extensive experience in legal research and review, as well as drafting motions and legal memoranda, and attending hearings and trials.

Jake Lee has extensive experience gained through numerous judicial clerkships, including for Judge Allison H. Eid of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit, Judge David B. Barlow and Judge Dee V. Benson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. Through these and other clerkships, Jake gained experience leading research and assisting in writing on various appellate issues and briefs on appeal.

While a law clerk at the Utah County Attorney’s Office, he also argued and led a jury trial of a retail theft charge under the third-year practice rule.
