How are you involved in changing the landscape of Utah’s business community in regard to inclusivity?
As a former Somos scholarship recipient myself, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of investing in young leaders. I now have the honor of serving as board chair. Since 2002, Somos Foundation has supported over 800 Latino and Hispanic students, providing them with scholarships and resources to excel in their education and professional development.
What is your favorite part of your job?
As board chair, my favorite part of my role is witnessing the moment when possibilities come alive for our students. There’s a unique joy in seeing a student who once faced barriers suddenly have doors open to them. A student who might have felt limited by their circumstances can, through our scholarships, discover they have the power to design their own future. To Main Page
