Riverton–Chick-fil-A’s Utah expansion continues with the August 13 groundbreaking event at the site of its new Mountain View Village restaurant.

The new 4,900- square foot Chick-fil-A location located at 4627 West Partridge Lane in Riverton is projected to open later this fall. The Mountain View Village restaurant will offer seating for 118 which includes patio seating as well as a two-story playground for children. The interior will feature the chain’s heritage restaurant interior design that showcases handmade, authentic materials for a vintage-inspired interior, including a large gathering table made from reclaimed wood, subway tiles, and a light fixture made from recycled Coca-Cola bottles.

Two drive-thru ordering lanes will enhance the chain’s award-winning drive-thru service. When it opens, the location is expected to create upwards of 115 new jobs.

Becky Pickle, a Utah native, has been selected as the owner/Operator of Utah’s newest stand-alone Chick-fil-A restaurant in Riverton. With being named the Mountain View Village restaurant, Pickle will become a multi-unit franchise owner for Chick-fil-A, a rare honor among Chick-fil-A Operators, having owned the South Jordan Chick-fil-A restaurant at 11494 District Drive since 2008. Pickle started working at Chick-fil-A as a teen, winning the chain’s Leadership Scholarship while a student at Weber State University. She and her husband, Scott, a local firefighter for Unified Fire Authority, have two daughters and are foster parents and are honored to continue to serve an area and community they know and love.

During her 15 years as Operator, Pickle has gone above and beyond to mentor thousands of team members and help them achieve their dreams, including awarding more than $115,000 in Chick-fil-A scholarships just in the past two years alone. With the launch of the chain’s new Remarkable Futures scholarship program last year, Pickle was able to award the most Chick-fil-A scholarships in the chain presenting more than $75,000 in scholarship money to 21 Team Members.
