Principal Product Manager | Spiff
What are you most proud of in your career thus far?
Since joining Spiff three years ago, I’ve been fortunate to build products and define product strategies that have grown Spiff’s revenue by more than 20 times and aided Spiff in receiving multiple rounds of venture funding from Salesforce and prominent venture capital firms. I’m incredibly proud of what the team is building, the trajectory Spiff is on, and the part I’ve been lucky enough to play in Spiff’s journey as the first non-co-founder product manager. I’m grateful that I’ve been able to take on a leadership role by managing and coaching other product managers as Spiff’s product team has grown. Most of all, I’m grateful to the founders who took a chance on me at such a crucial time for their company, gave me tremendous growth opportunities and continue to bet on me.
What is the most fulfilling part of the work you do?
I especially love it when, after our team has released something new, I get to join customer calls and hear success stories about how the product or feature we just released has impacted our customers’ lives for the better.
Who inspires you?
Of the many people who inspire me, my mom and dad are the ones who have had the biggest impact on me. As a nurse and doctor, they’ve taught me about the importance of honing one’s craft, the value of hard work and the significance of lifting others along the way. As Rex E. Lee once said, “We have all drunk from wells we did not dig and warmed ourselves by fires we did not build.” This is especially true of my parents’ inspirational kindness and how much I’ve benefitted from their example.
