Salt Lake City—CBRE has negotiated a 37,308-square-foot lease at Six Gateway for Woodside Homes, a residential home builder headquartered in Salt Lake City. Peter Black of CBRE represented the tenant, Woodside Homes, in the transaction.
Located at 460 West 50 North in Salt Lake City, Six Gateway has excellent visibility and immediate access via I-15 and Utah Transit Authority’s FrontRunner and TRAX commuter lines. Additionally, the location lends access to a variety of amenities including over a dozen restaurants at The Gateway. Six Gateway is a Class A office building totaling approximately 104,000 square feet and consisting of four floors. Woodside Homes will be leasing space on the second and third floors, expanding their heaquarters space to approximately 37,000 square feet.
“Woodside is a thriving company and, as a result, they are outgrowing their current space in Six Gateway,” explained Peter Black. “When more space opened up in the building we had to act quickly. With the help of our Project Manager, Charles Gaddis, we were able to negotiate a mutually beneficial agreement for both Woodside and the landlord.”
The new lease agreement includes tenant improvements, which are currently being carried out. Following the completion of these improvements, Woodside Homes plans to commence occupancy of suite 200 in January 2018 and suites 300 and 310 in April 2018.
