Salt Lake City — BO Beauty Studios by MizzJ is set to make its highly-anticipated debut at City Creek Mall in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 1st, 2024 at 10am. Offering a range of luxurious beauty services including bridal makeup, manicures, pedicures, and waxing, this new spa is poised to redefine the beauty scene

in the heart of the city.

The salon marks a significant milestone as it will be the first time in the history of City Creek that a Black woman will occupy a space in the city’s most popular mall site. Proprietor and Utah resident, Heather Jefferson, a seasoned expert in makeup and skincare services, has dedicated decades to perfecting her craft. Heather will lead a team of half a dozen technicians who are committed to providing top-notch services to brides, moms, and beauty enthusiasts alike.

Heather Jefferson shared her excitement about this new venture, stating, “I take this opportunity seriously and aim to be a guiding light for other Black women with dreams of making an impact in the multi-billion dollar beauty industry." Looking ahead, the ultimate goal of BO Beauty Studios by MizzJ is to franchise the business to women of color across the country. This vision aims to empower women to create local, luxurious spa experiences that enrich the lives of their clients.
