As CEO and master distiller, Sara Sergent has attracted top Utah talent to Alpine Distilling while positioning the company as an industry leader through sustainable practices. In 2024, she received two Best in Class awards and was inducted into both the prestigious London Gin Guild as a warden rectifier and the Gin Hall of Fame at the Isle of Wight. She represented Utah distilling at multiple international events and earned Alpine’s second Sustainable Business award from Utah Business.
Under her leadership, Alpine achieved 32 percent growth in gross sales and 40 percent growth in focus products while decreasing inventory levels by 8 percent. Sara implemented employee benefits including 401K and health insurance, resulting in zero manager turnover and creating a strong organizational culture.

Consumers are increasingly seeking premium, authentic and sustainable products that align with our core values and commitment to crafting high-quality, award-winning gin, whiskey and liqueurs. We are preparing for the continued growth of the craft spirits movement by emphasizing our transparency in sourcing, sustainable packaging and unique flavor profiles.
What are you most looking forward to accomplishing in 2025?
We craft internationally award-winning spirits, and we are thrilled about what lies ahead in 2025. … In addition to expanding our reach, we look forward to hosting more immersive experiences at our Alpine Social Club, including custom gin-making sessions, exclusive events and Park City’s first dopamine experience.
