Jared Andersen
CEO | Crazy Candy
Jared Andersen transformed a basement family project into a confectionery powerhouse as CEO of Andersen’s Crazy Candy. His data-driven approach and strategic vertical integration revolutionized the freeze-dried candy industry, perfecting products competitors considered impossible to create. Under his leadership, revenue soared from $100,000 in 2022 to an anticipated $20-25 million in 2024.
The company expanded from 400 distribution locations to over 25,000 nationwide, capturing 61-67 percent of the freeze-dried candy market. In 2024, Andersen’s Crazy Candy earned three innovation awards at the Sweets & Snacks Expo, quadrupled its workforce to more than 125 employees and expanded facilities from 10,000 to 60,000 square feet.
