What does success look like to you?
The meaning of success has changed for me over the years. Now, it looks like ensuring YWCA Utah has the resources to provide deeply supportive services to adult and child survivors of domestic violence. It means supporting my team to learn and grow and to be successful in their own roles. It means doing all of it without burning out so I can continue to be the mom and partner that I want to be.
What advice do you have for your younger self?
Don’t let things keep you up at night. Work can feel stressful, but most of the pressure is self-induced. Take a breath, look at the bigger picture and just do your best.
