Who inspires you most?
I’m deeply inspired by the many incredible women I’ve had the honor of working with — women who lead with courage, show up with compassion and face challenges with unshakable determination. Their strength and resilience remind me daily of the power of showing up fully, even when the work is hard and the road is uncertain. I’m also profoundly inspired by Alice Paul and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, two women who weren’t afraid to challenge systems, speak hard truths and stand firm in their convictions. They both understood the long game of change, the patience required to fight battles that may not be won in their lifetime, and the importance of using their voices even when it came at a great personal cost.
What are you looking forward to accomplishing most in 2025?
In 2025, I’m most excited about launching our new strategic plan at Canyon Creek Services — a roadmap that will guide us in strengthening our services, deepening our impact and creating meaningful change in our community. On a personal note, I’m also training for my first marathon…again. After a femoral stress fracture sidelined me for six months in 2024, this comeback feels deeply personal. I’m hungry for that finish line, and let’s just say my running shoes and I have some unfinished business.
