What does success look like to you?
Success is as simple as asking, “Am I living the life I truly want to live?” Everyone’s goals and aspirations are uniquely their own, and success is about accomplishing those personal milestones. For me, I’ve always had a clear roadmap for my life, and achieving those goals has brought me deep joy and a sense of fulfillment. My roadmap and accomplishments might not resonate with the next person, and that’s the beauty of it. Success is deeply personal; it’s about setting your sights on what matters to you and pursuing it.
What is after 40?
By most measurements, I’ve achieved more than I thought I would in my lifetime. My next goal isn’t career-focused — it’s quite the opposite. I hope to take the pedal off the gas for a period and be a full-time dad with my two little girls while continuing to invest in my wife’s career. More time for skiing, biking and hiking would also be a perk.
