What leadership philosophy guides your strategic vision and decision-making?
I’m a huge fan of accountability. Unfortunately, that word usually has a negative connotation. If done right, accountability is very empowering. Everyone should have a metric they own that helps drive the mission and vision of the company.
How have you leveraged your position as a C-suite executive to influence business dynamics in Utah?
I have taught a product strategy class in the Brigham Young University MBA program for five years. This has allowed me to prepare hundreds of students for jobs in Utah and hire several as interns or full-time employees. As part of the class, I also organize company projects, most of which are within Utah. In these projects, groups of students dig into real problems, do customer research and make recommendations to the companies. It’s been incredible to see the impact on both the students and the companies. To Main Page
