How does a legacy corporate travel management company not only survive a global pandemic but come back stronger than ever? This is the question Kathleen Roberts was faced with in the spring of 2020. Her 40-year career spans diverse leadership positions in operations, program management, marketing and sales, with experience navigating travel company setbacks during the Great Recession and 9/11. Under her leadership, Christopherson Business Travel provided corporate travel management solutions for organizations with essential workers. She was instrumental in helping the company not only weather the pandemic, but position it for rapid growth, significantly exceeding pre-pandemic sales as soon as business travel returned to normal levels. Today, she and the Christopherson Business Travel team are embracing the future of corporate travel management by challenging the status quo and combining advanced technology with something extremely rare — 24/7 access to experienced travel advisors.
