Claudia Reese started her career in mental health and intentionally made a move from administrative positions in youth group homes to human resources in tech. When she first joined NetDocuments, the company had about 100 employees. With over 500 employees today, she guided the company and executive leadership team through four years of unprecedented growth. In addition to establishing employee award programs and spearheading ESG strategies, Claudia has improved employee engagement and eNPS scores within NetDocuments and helped secure company-wide awards on a state and national scale. She prioritizes giving back to the community, coordinating company scholarship donations through Scholarship of America and leading initiatives to support Tech Moms and Junior Achievement.

What is your favorite part of your job?

The people. I am passionate about improving employee experiences with authentic and transparent interactions. Not every day can be fun, but all days should be rewarding. The people I work with — climb hills, grow through opportunities, learn from mistakes and celebrate the wins with — make my role fulfilling.

What advice would you give to young women looking to succeed in your field?
