What is the most rewarding thing about working in HR?
I love HR because I get exposure to all aspects of the business, work with incredible people at all levels and support growth through strategy, best practices and innovative thinking. I am in it for the employees. I want them to feel supported; we will champion their potential and value their contributions.
What is one piece of advice you could offer employers about talent acquisition and retention?
You need to be quick in making decisions and vetting out potential employees. I never want to rush the process, but I also know that top candidates go fast. Therefore, I work quickly to meet with candidates, get them in front of hiring managers and teams, and check references/background checks. HR should have a seat at the table in the interview process to assess soft skills and fit with company culture. To Main Page
