How are you involved in changing the landscape of Utah’s business community in regard to inclusivity?

I am part of an extraordinary team with the immense privilege of cultivating future leaders, helping them form their professional identity and develop the skills and knowledge they will need to lead our community. Central to that work is ensuring our students are aware of the agency they have to choose the future they want. They have as much right to a place at the proverbial table of power as anyone else, no matter the community they come from, where they or their parents were born, the color of their skin, who they love or how they choose to express their identity.

What organizations do you find most important to support?

My spouse and I support a wide array of causes and organizations, from education to healthcare to civil society. If there is a common theme, it is about leveraging the privilege we have for the benefit of others, supporting their right to dignity, agency over their bodies, the ability to live their true identity, and access resources we believe to be basic human rights like healthcare and education.
