Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau to host Wasatch Back Economic Summit focused on connecting regions, empowering communities and fueling the economy 

Park City, UT — Join Park City Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and the Heber Valley Chamber of Commerce for the 2024 Zions Bank Wasatch Back Economic Summit at the Grand Summit Hotel on Tuesday, May 14 from 8:00  a.m. to 3:30  p.m. followed by a regional mixer until 5:00 p.m. This unique regional event is in partnership with Heber City, Wasatch County, Summit County and Park City Municipal. Featuring a keynote presentation, breakout sessions, updates from industry leaders, regional experts, elected officials and more, attendees will learn about key issues and opportunities facing the Wasatch Back.

The two main presentations for this year’s event are:

  • Keynote Speaker: 8:15 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. | Join Robert Spendlove with Zions Bank for an overview of current economic conditions and a look ahead at the opportunities and challenges for 2024 and beyond.
  • Elected Officials Panel: 12:45 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. | Led by Margaret Plane, Park City Municipal Special Counsel, this year’s elected officials panel will discuss the collaborative efforts between counties and municipalities in addressing crucial issues such as housing, transportation and economic growth. Panelists include Tana Toly, Park City Mayor Pro Tem; Heidi Franco, Heber City Mayor; Erik Rowland, Wasatch County Council Member, and Malena Stevens, Summit County Council Member (Chair).
