Hugo Chavez makes surprise return to Venezuela

Published February 18, 2013

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Monday said he has returned to his home country after more than two months of medical treatment in Cuba following cancer surgery that kept him away from the public since December. The president broke the news on his Twitter account and said he will continue treatment in Venezuela. "We have arrived back in the Venezuelan fatherland. Thank God!
