Vivint, a home automation services company in North America, announced that it received a Mobile Star Award at the 11th Annual Mobile Star Awards. This program was hosted by the mobile technology news and events site MobileVillage.com.
The 2012 Mobile Star Awards showcased hundreds of entrants in dozens of “best of” categories, including smartphones, tablets, notebooks, mobile apps, wireless network gear, mobile enterprise solutions and success stories, and mobile industry visionaries. More than 10,000 subscribers of Go Mobile—MobileVillage’s free, biweekly e-newsletter that compiles the top mobile technology stories from around the Web—chose the Mobile Star Awards winners.
Vivint received top honors in the mobile asset tracking and field service category. Vivint’s Mobile Tech Management app gives its field technicians the ability to manage and optimize schedules through their smartphones. When a customer reports a problem, a Vivint field technician is immediately notified based on his or her location and scheduling availability. The app allows Vivint to respond to customer concerns and service calls quickly and efficiently.
