Vivint Builds on Strong Customer Service Reputation

Vivint, a provider of home technology services in North America, has won gold medal honors from Contact Center World, renowned as the Olympics of corporate “best practices” competitions in the contact center industry. In addition to its first-place gold medal for Best Customer Service, Vivint also took gold in the Best Executive/Leadership category.

“You can have world-class products, attractive pricing, and savvy, forward-thinking staff, but if you don’t back that up with professional, friendly and effective customer service you won’t succeed,” said Josh Houser, Vivint’s vice president of service and inside sales. “This is not the first time our customer service staff has won praise for going the extra mile, and I’m extremely proud of our top-notch service.”

Vivint’s excellence in customer service also caught the eye of judges for the 2012 American Business Awards, or “Stevies,” another top annual business recognition program. Vivint was honored as the gold winner of “Customer Service Department of the Year.” More than 3,000 companies were nominated for Stevies this year from a myriad of industries. Vivint also won the ABA’s gold for Corporate Social Responsibility, a recognition for the company’s community outreach efforts.

“It all comes down to people. In addition to amazing customer service, we want to make our customers’ homes safer and more energy efficient by providing the very best in home automation technology,” added Houser.
