Lehi—Thanksgiving Point has launched a new public fundraising campaign through RUcurious2.org to raise awareness, support and excitement for the Museum of Natural Curiosity—a children’s museum scheduled to open spring 2014. The museum will teach science, art, history and culture through more than 150 interactive exhibits.
The Museum of Natural Curiosity in the Barbara Barrington Jones Family Foundation Building broke ground in October 2012 when it raised enough funds to start construction. As of April 1, 2013, public and private donors contributed a total of $24.3 million to the project. An additional $3.4 million is still needed to complete the interior exhibit spaces.
Thanksgiving Point invites the community to support this educational cause—whether it’s through a $5 or $5,000 donation—to complete funding for the extensive interactive exhibits. Opportunities for donor recognition inside the museum start at $100.
To donate or to receive more information on the museum, visit MuseumofNaturalCuriosity.org. RUcurious2.org aims to evoke curiosity and support by sharing peculiar trivia, games and entertainment and by capturing random acts of curiosity in the community.
