Salt Lake City –– Spring Mobile, a Utah-based retailer of AT&T wireless phones, has acquired 11 retail locations from Clearchoice Mobility, an AT&T wireless dealer in Chicago.
The acquisition marks Spring Mobile’s entrance into the Chicago market with 11 new locations that opened May 1, bringing the company’s total store count to 101.
With the addition of the new market, Spring Mobile announced Kirby Loeck will serve as the regional manager for the new retail stores. In his previous position, Loeck was the regional manager of Spring’s Colorado south market and has been with the company for more than nine years.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to expand into our 11th market, and bring the Spring Mobile brand to the Chicago area,” said Jason Ellis, Spring Mobile’s president. “We have experienced tremendous growth and success, allowing us to hit a milestone of 101 stores, and we will continue to look for even more opportunities to expand.”
