With the increasing amount of software viruses and hackers, organizations are seeking software that can combat these potential software risks. Arellia, a local Utah-based software company, has been providing solutions to these threats since 2009.
This American Fork company focuses on securing administrator controls and system configuration through specialized software. Through this software, the right people get access to the systems or information they need, while locking out those without proper clearance.
The software is being used by 20,000 customers globally. Arellia targets companies with at least 1000 Windows desktops or servers, and has market traction with its existing customers including: Cisco, the IRS, ESPN, the Blackstone Group, TSA and BP. Further, through a relationship with the global software brand Symantec, Arellia is able to supply their software around the globe.
In efforts to expand, Arellia presented its business plan to a panel of investors at the Salt Lake City Deal Forum.
Hewitt Technologies, Inc. also presented at the event. It is a Cleantech company with a unique, simple to install filtration system. This filter system dramatically extends the time between oil changes for diesel engines. This results in significantly lower maintenance costs, less down time, and delivers better emission/power performance.
The Deal Forum is free to the public and is hosted by the Wayne Brown Institute, Zions Bank, The Utah Division of Securities and American Express.
This monthly event gives selected entrepreneurs an opportunity to present their business to a panel of investors who provide the entrepreneur with incite and vital feedback.
The Deal Forum is part of the Investor’s Choice Conference, which takes place in February of 2013.
