CHG Healthcare Services promoted SCOTT BECK to president. Beck will also retain his current position as COO of the company. ALAN MCIVER joined the company as group president. McIver will provide strategic oversight for CHG’s travel nurse staffing brand, RN Network, as well as the rehab travel staffing business of its CompHealth brand.
Gov. Gary R. Herbert appointed CHYLEEN A. ARBON to serve on the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole. Arbon previously worked as an assistant professor for the Romney Institute and as a policy analyst in the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel.
MonaVie named KALE CARLILE as the company’s COO. Carlile will oversee the company’s supply-chain management, product management, global logistics and contact center. The company also named ROB FERGUSON as its new CIO. Ferguson will coordinate with the company’s founders and board to develop strategies and systems that meet the evolving technology needs of the company’s global network of independent distributors. DR. SHAWN TALBOTT was named vice president of research and product development. Talbott is responsible for developing and overseeing the creation of an overall product strategy.
KREY ELLIS joined Bodell Construction as finance and accounting director. Ellis will be responsible for directing the accounting department and providing expertise in the areas of financial reporting, internal controls and general office administration.
Bodell Construction promoted PETER KNIGHT to project manager. Knight has been with Bodell for 15 years. Bodell also hired MICHELLE BUCKMASTER as client services coordinator. Buckmaster brings nearly 10 years of experience in construction marketing to both government and private industries.
Utah Community Reinvestment Corporation (UCRC) hired KELLY MCQUAID as chief credit and lending officer. McQuaid leads UCRC’s loan production efforts, heading a five-person group dedicated to meeting the affordable housing finance needs of clients.
BRENDA CASE SCHEER, dean of the College of Architecture + Planning at the University of Utah, was elected to the College of Fellows of The American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
DOUGLAS C. BLACK was appointed chairman of the board of SelectHealth. Black is also vice chairman of Intermountain Healthcare’s board of trustees.
ALAN and KAREN ASHTON were the recipients of the Pillar of the Valley award from the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes those who have contributed in extraordinary ways to the business, civic, social, educational or cultural climate of Utah Valley.
VAUGHN PACK, a Staker Parson employee for 37 years, was honored as Highway Project Manager of the Year by the Associated General Contractors of Utah. Pack has managed UDOT projects across the state from Davis County to St. George.
