JAN NEWMAN, partner at SageCreek Partners, has joined Marketecture’s board of directors. As a board member, Newman will be a strategy coach and resource for Marketecture’s entire executive team. Newman is a software entrepreneur with more than 20 years of executive experience.

WASATCH/SUMMIT AREA

MARLIN SIEBACH was appointed chief engineer at Zermatt Resort in Midway. Siebach will be responsible for asset preservation and new construction at the resort. Siebach graduated from BYU with a degree in construction management and is a licensed general contractor in Utah. He previously served in the United States Army Corps of Engineers and current serves in the Army Reserves.

JOEY PESNER, a nationally recognized culinarian, was named executive chef at Zermatt Resort. Pesner will oversee all menu and concept development, special events and staff training at the resort. Pesner comes to Utah from Captiva Island, Fla., where he served as executive chef of South Seas Island Resort. He is a graduate of the Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Ore.

Kelly Services appointed KEVIN SMITH district manager in St. George. Smith is responsible for the overall sales and operations in St. George, which serves the Southern Utah market. Kelly Services provides comprehensive workforce solutions ranging from entry-level to experienced office and light industrial support, to professional and technical specialists skilled in the areas of accounting and finance, engineering, healthcare, IT, law and science.
