CBIZ and Mayer Hoffman and McCann, P.C. announced that RICHARD D. ANGELL has joined the Salt Lake City office as an audit and accounting shareholder in the firm’s audit and assurance services practice. The company also appointed JOHN DALE as managing director. Dale also serves as an audit and accounting shareholder.

Control4 appointed MARTIN PLAEHN as its president and CEO. Plaehn will provide leadership for Control4 in driving business and technology strategies and improving operating excellence for ongoing growth.

ED BLAKE was appointed as the new executive director of the Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity. Blake has been involved in Habitat for Humanity for the past 10 years. Blake has served as president of the board of directors of Salt Lake Valley Habitat for Humanity and is a realtor with RE/MAX Masters.

Saxton | Horne Advertising, part of the Larry H. Miller Group, named DAVID BLAIN vice president of client services. Blain will oversee client services through the company’s team of account managers and media directors.

DALLIN PEDERSEN, project engineer at BHB Consulting Engineers, won the Structural Engineers Association of Utah Fresh Face of Engineering Award 2011. This award spotlights Pedersen as an outstanding contributor to America’s youngest professional engineers.

MonaVie appointed ARTHUR SANDO vice president, corporate communications. For the past four years, Sando has been CEO of a Los Angeles–based communications consultancy. Allegiance, Inc. named JASON TAYLOR executive vice president of engineering. Taylor is responsible for all aspects of technology, product development and quality assurance at Allegiance. An experienced engineering leader for almost two decades, he previously led engineering teams at Novell and Omniture (an Adobe company).

STEVEN KOCH joined the NAI West Property Management team as a senior property manager. Koch brings more than 15 years property management experience to the group.

The board of directors of the Utah Food Bank named KAREN SENDELBACK chief executive officer. In this role, Sendelback will be responsible for overseeing all strategic direction, processes and donation programs of the organization. Sendelback has more than 30 years of national nonprofit experience.

TechMediaNetwork, Inc. (TMN) appointed RANDY BAMBROUGH, former CFO of NextGNetworks, as the company’s new CFO. Bambrough oversees TMN’s finance and accounting functions for all divisions of the fast-growing company.

SHELLEY CLARKE retired as president and CEO of Goldenwest Credit Union. Clarke started her Goldenwest career as a teller in 1974 and was named president and CEO in 2001.

STERLING POULSON, senior meteorologist at KUTV2 News, was the featured speaker at the Southwest Utah Public Health Foundation’s Gala Fund-raising Dinner. The Gala featured a silent auction and live music.
