Westminster College named SHEILA RAPPAZZO YORKIN executive director of integrated marketing communications. Yorkin began leading the college’s Office of Communication in March. She joined Westminster after four years as director of marketing and communications at the Economic Development Corporation of Utah.
Wasatch Advisors, Inc. added JB TAYLOR as a portfolio manager on its flagship Wasatch Small Cap Growth Fund. Taylor is a 17-year veteran Wasatch investment manager and will continue to be the lead portfolio manager on one of the firm’s other small cap strategies, the Wasatch Core Growth Fund.
BRUCE BRYAN, Utah regional president of Chartway Federal Credit Union, was appointed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Utah board of directors.
Kimpton’s Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City promoted BLAKE SARLO to director of sales and marketing at the downtown hotel.
JOYCE GAUFIN, acting executive director of Great Basin Public Health Leadership Institute, became president-elect of the American Public Health Association during its 140th annual meeting and exposition, held in San Francisco. Gaufin will become president of the organization in November 2013.
CHAD CURTIS was named executive vice president and CFO of Mountain America Credit Union. Curtis was senior vice president of finance at Mountain America for nine years. He previously worked for Grant Thornton LLP, providing auditing services.
Molina Healthcare, Inc. named CHAD WESTOVER president of its subsidiary, Molina Healthcare of Utah. As the new president, Westover is responsible for the health plan operations in Utah, as well as the implementation of strategic initiatives.
DAVID HOOPES joined CBIZ, LLC and Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. Hoppes is managing director at CBIZ and a shareholder of Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.
The Governor’s Office of Economic Development appointed HARVEY SCOTT as director of its International Trade and Diplomacy Office (ITDO). Scott previously served as the ITDO regional director of the Americas.
BARRIE L. MCKAY was promoted to vice president of state regulatory affairs for Questar Gas. BRADY RASMUSSEN was promoted to vice president of administration for Questar’s natural gas development and production arm.
JUSTIN C. WOODY was promoted to vice president of engineering and geoscience at Wexpro. Woody came to Wexpro from EOG Resources in 2007 and has held several engineering and management positions with Wexpro.
BOB REED was appointed chairman of the board of governors for the South Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce. Reed currently works as the business development representative for Cameron Construction.
Weber State University named STANLEY E. FAWCETT as its first endowed chair in Global Supply Chain Management.
South Davis Community Hospital appointed ROBERT BROUGH to its board of directors. He is the executive vice president of marketing and communications for Zions First National Bank.
Bank of Utah hired JILL LAWRENCE to lead consumer lending services for its Ogden branch. She worked most recently for a local credit union as a consumer loan underwriter and a lead service representative and loan officer. Bank of Utah also hired RYAN GRANQUIST as vice president and bank-wide branch administrator. Granquist is a certified fraud examiner.
TROY NORTH of Gramoll Construction was recognized as superintendent of the year at AGC of Utah’s Annual Awards Banquet. North was honored for his efforts with the Donna Garff Marriot Honors Residential Scholars Community Building at the University of Utah.
The Park City Board of Realtors elected new leadership. JEFF SPENCER is the new president. MARCIE DAVIS is the new president-elect, DEB HARTLEY is the new secretary, NANCY TALLMAN is the new treasurer, and MARC COULAM and SUZANNE SHERIDAN are new directors.
RONALD C. HODGE joined the board of directors of Park City Group. Hodge was CEO of Delhaize America from March 2011 to October 2012. Before that, he spent 31 years with Hannaford Bros Co., where he was CEO from 2001 to 2011.
The Village Bank board of directors welcomed ROBERT C. HUDDLESTON and GREGORY A. KEMP as new directors. JAMES GREY LARKIN was appointed chairman of the board after fulfilling the duties of chairman since February 2012. LOUISE G. ZEENATI was appointed CFO.
Squatty Potty appointed DEVIN BRADY as CFO. Brady oversees the company’s direct accounting, treasury and finance functions, in addition to developing and implementing a business plan. Brady was previously the owner and principal of Devin Brady, CPA, PLLC.
