RILEY SCHROEDER was promoted as Landmark Home Warranty’s new vice president of sales. As vice resident of sales, Schroeder’s emphasis will be to improve market share in Idaho and Arizona and to spearhead expansion of Landmark Coverage into new states.
KEVIN MARASCO joined HireVue in the role of chief marketing officer. The addition of Marasco to HireVue’s leadership team positions the organization for continued rapid growth. Most recently, Marasco was vice president of brand and digital marketing for San Francisco Bay-based Taleo.
TODD F. PETERSON was appointed vice president of Gold Cross. Peterson will continue to oversee all safety issues, purchasing, legal matters and facility management for the company’s Utah operations. Peterson has held several key positions including state and federal compliance officer, director of operations and maintenance, and manager of property holdings.
VLCM announced that SHAUN STEEL accepted a position on the Utah Technology Council (UTC) board of trustees. Steel adds important leadership experience in the corporate, marketing, sales and project management areas to the UTC team.
Easton Mountain Products named JOHN BERCAW product manager. Bercaw will be an integral part of product development and will oversee snowshoe, tent and trekking pole product lines. With a master’s degree in exercise physiology, Bercaw transitioned into the outdoor industry, working as head of research and development and later as line director at Black Diamond Equipment. He has also worked at Chums and Beyond Coastal.
Harmons Grocery Stores named JESSICA LAROCHE its first in-store registered dietitian. She will provide a variety of services at Harmons’ new Station Park store in Farmington. LaRoche’s nutrition expertise spans three years, working for organizations such as Intermountain Healthcare, the University of Utah and the Utah State Board of Education.
DAVE BUZZA was promoted to national director of franchise development at AlphaGraphics. Previously, Buzza was the company’s regional development director. Buzza’s experience includes key positions in business development, sales and franchise ownership.
GARY RIDDLE joined the Salt Lake City office of CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) as director of global corporate services. Riddle is a 25-year veteran of Wells Fargo Bank’s corporate real estate division, most recently as vice president of its corporate properties group. Over the course of his career, Riddle oversaw corporate real estate transactions for a multi-state region for Wells Fargo Bank. He also spent eight years at First Security Bank in commercial real estate loan workouts.
CLEARLINK welcomed DENA DICKINSON as director of workforce management, RENEE THOMPSON as director of facilities and brand management, and NICK MIRIZZI as vice president of business development. Dickinson most recently oversaw workforce planning at Netflix and has 11 years of experience in resource management of sales facilities. Thompson served as the marketing director for the Biggest Loser Resort at Fitness Ridge for the past two years, managing marketing, branding and vendor relationships with NBC. Mirrizi spent the past seven years with TaylorMade, managing corporate partnerships and marketing communications.
JEREMY CHASE joined Visit Salt Lake as its new sports market sales manager, focusing on attracting athletic events and sports-related meetings to Salt Lake County. Chase brings 20 years of hospitality industry experience to Visit Salt Lake, the last two of which were spent as manager of The Boston Yacht Haven Inn in Massachusetts. Prior to that, he was general manager at the Inn at Solitude for four years, general manager at various east coast Ocean Properties hotels, and director of room operations at Salt Lake Marriott City Center. The International Association of Fairs and Expos has designated Utah State Fairpark Operations Director, ANDREW CARLINO, as a certified fair executive. The certification is based upon a rigid scorecard of best practices, management skills, education and leadership in the industry.
DON W. BARKER, principal at BHB Consulting Engineers, received his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate Certification. Barker will better serve the design community with sustainable design practices. His LEED certification strengthens BHB’s commitment to its clients and the environment.
KIM HASKINS is the new client services specialist for the Wilmarth-Cornelison team. Haskins brings several years of experience in operations and sales management. Her most recent position was as sales manager for ACK Properties.
Progrexion named BRAD HANKS social media manager. Hanks will oversee the interaction of its clients with customers and help steer the “voice” of the brands that Progrexion manages. Hanks will work closely with others to make sure that all client-facing messaging is consistent across multiple channels.
