The Governor’s Office of Economic Development appointed HARVEY SCOTT director of the International Trade and Diplomacy Office (ITDO) within GOED. He has served as the ITDO regional director of the Americas since June 2012.
St. George company Squatty Potty hired DEVIN BRADY to become its new chief financial officer. Brady was previously owner and principal of Devin Brady, CPA, PLLC, which served service, retail and non-profit clients.
Jones Waldo law firm hired JESS GRIFFITHS and ALLISON GRIFITHS to the firm’s Park City office. Both will join the firm’s healthcare law practice group, with Jess Griffiths as the leader of the group.
BARRIE L. MCKAY was promoted to vice president of state regulatory affairs for Questar Gas. McKay had been the utility’s general manager of regulatory affairs and energy efficiency. He is responsible for managing regulatory activities and energy-conservation programs in Utah and Wyoming.
BRADY RASMUSSEN, formerly general manager of accounting at Questar gas, was promoted to vice president of administration for Questar’s natural gas development and production arm. Rasmussen has been with the company for 18 years in various accounting, supervisory and management positions.
JUSTIN C. WOODY was promoted to Wexpro’s vice president of engineering and geoscience, after managing those functions for Wexpro for the past two years. Woody came to Wexpro from EOG Resources in 2007, and has held several engineering and management positions with Wexpro.
Zions Bank promoted CORY GARDINER to manager of its Women’s Financial Group, the region’s first specialty banking center for women. Gardiner joined Zions in 2004 as an Ogden branch manager and moved to the Women’s Financial Group in 2010 as a vice president.
